dose any 1 know if the insurance for a 05 neon and 05 srt are diff or the same????

the SRT insurance is a hell of a lot more than the SXT....thats why im driving a SXT instead of a SRT4

I take it you just swapped motors out of a good SRT-4 rather than a junker?

no im getting a wreaked srt from cali in a few weeks for 2 grand! airbags didnt even deploy. so im swapping everything from the srt into my neon and everything from the neon into the srt and will rpobly sell it for really cheap like 500 lol o yea i might have an extra pair of srt seats guys!

Oh... dual motor swap... have fun, you'll most likely get more money out of the wrecked car by parting and selling your 2.0 motor seperate. Doing the work to get the 2.0 motor into the SRT chassis just to sell doesn't seem to be worth it.

yea im parting out most of the stuff but i cant get to much for stock neon stuff so might just mount it up to the srt so i can get it out of my yard and into a junk yard or some 1 elses rather than push it.

Insurance companies usually go by the VIN number. It tells them what engine and most of the options your car has. So if your swapping, its unlikely they will find out, unless you wreck it and you try to claim the swapped items. Then they will probably deny your claim. Its up to the individual insurance company though.

As far as insurance goes . . i havent priced the SRT insurance lately . . .
I know with progressive the difference between my 03 SXT and 03 SRT were only 4 dollars a month . . . but that was 3 years ago, and not as many SRT's had been totaled

Just go a free price quote at progressive.com or something

the only exterior parts that i may be parting out are a white or red srt rear bumper and white side skirts 1 side may be a lil damaged. and i havnt seen the front bumper yet it might be trashed.

yea im going to go get an insurance quote to check how much it would be but i might just part it out.
