OK definately need some help!

so i was driving home from work just now at 515am and all of a sudden my high beams came on by themselves and will not go off. my fog lights remain on though and when i pull the lever that usually activates my high beams it will not click them on or off but will turn my fogs off as though it is turning the high beams on but will not change the light beam it self? what the hell is going on i tried restarting it like 5 times tried running my obd2 scanner see if it threw anything i got nothing out of this what the hell is going on?

The switch probably crapped out on ya...

what do youmean like in the arm coming off the steering console or somewhere down the line like a relay switch somewhere in the dash or what? never have had a headlight issue

Sounds like another multi-function switch bites the dust. Yeah it's the switch that comes off the column. The switch can randomly die on you, or worse, the harness to the back of the switch can actually melt. There are a few screws on the bottom of the column. If you take those out, you can take the "shell" off of the column and get a look at it.
