exhaust cutout

Post by kc2005ptgt » Mon Sep 04, 2006 5:47 pm

Ok, for my next mod I am going to do an exhaust cutout - like the one sold on Modperf, with the electric plate that moves, blah blah... for those of you who do not know what I am talking about, this is it: CUTOUT!.

So, anyways, where would I install this bad boy... Does it go after the kitty? Does it go before, does it lay sideways? What about scrapage? Anyone who has any answers, please chime in! :) thanks all!

Typically (at least on old school cars) they are after the cat (if so equipped). They are mounted sideways, so the exhaust exits out the side. You should not have a problem with scrapes, unless you are ultra low.
