You can install them but then it better to have someone with an alignment machine adjust them.

Agreed, Take it to an alignment PRO to have its set properly with lasers. There are a few people here that recomend one setting Vs another. From what I heard from a tech at work though, do not get your alignment set to ACR specs, supposively it will burn you tires up quick....

the camber bolts are easy to change just take the top bolt out of the strut where the knucle bolts in and put the bolt in the top hole, easy enough.. but if you do that you better be ready to bring it somewhere to get aligned, or pay some one to put the bolts in and align it. some of the techs might put it in for a cheap price, i would if you lived in New england. i'm a front end guy thats all i do all day long, and you would want them set to factory specs, anyother type of spec, will wear out the tires faster than normal. i personally had the bolts, but i decided to slott the struts because i lowered the car, works out the same way.

If i can remember i think ACR specs are cambered in a little more negatively for race uses.. if i am correct.

How did you slot your struts? Did you drill, torch, grind, etc...?? I'm curious, because I was this close to doing it, and then I realized that a moron had done my alignment and lied to me about the camber bolts being adjusted.

its a very little amount to slott, they recommend only 5mm's but even then 5mm isn't to big but the amount of adjustment is +3 or +2 degrees, can't remeber i lowered my car in january so. but you need a drill and a rotary file or rotary barb you can get them from any snap on , mac or matco tool rep, there are probely other ways of slotting them but that is the most affective, real quick and easy, you never want to torch a strut the gas inside is under pressure, once they get real hot they tend to letgo. when you slott the strut you have to slott the strut on the bottom hole going towards the inside of the car, or either way, depends on if your lowered or not. slotting inward will let your adjustment go +( top of tire pointing out of wheel well) and if you slott towards the outside of the car, it will go - ( top of tire pointing inside wheel well). to much of either angle will eat your tires for dinner. i'll take a pic of the barb at work tomorrow, you might be able to get away using a round file, to file them out but you'll be there forever.

I have my suspension aligned to ACR specs. Its hardly extreme, just a bit of neg camber. Im gonna pull my car onto the alignment rack at school this week and check the specs out, maybe adjust a bit if needed. Ill post what i find.

I just had mine done last week. I went buy by the ACR spec for the alignment but i think the rears are toed in too much. but other than that what a difference with the camber bolts in the car rids wayyyyyyy better and I'm not chewing the tires off in the process.

ACR specs are a start for a daily driver. Myself, I have -1 degree of camber in the rear and -.5 toe. And I have -2.5 degrees of camber in the front and -1 toe.

It does wear tires a little bit faster, but Ive got plenty of miles on these tires so far and theyre still doing good for being as old as they are and having a several autoX events on them. I just rotate my tires every 5k miles.
