anyone know anything i can put in a turbo to clean it out. mine is a little gumed up and im wondering what i can put in it to clean some of the oil out. its not spinnings so freely and i was thinking like drano type stuff but i want something i know that wont hurt the shaft any. anyone know anything? i heard brake cleaner but that didnt work to well but it helped a little bit.

run it through a good old parts washer, it will clean up any carbon deosits,gumming etc...

Nah man. I wouldnt use drano to clean your turbo. That stuff only works good when used as radiator fluid.

lol i didnt say i was going to use drano i know not to use it, i said something like drano that unclogs clogs and stuff like that.
