so any advice on enlarging the holes on the flew plate while its bolted to the crank lol. yea i kno probly a bad idea but to late now. its my only option. not taking everything apart now. i guess an r/t clutch plus a 02 4 speed stx flew plate dont mtach up. 1 bolt mmatches but the others dont line up. so im going to use a drill to enlarge them.

DONT DRILL IT!

The holes will line up. They are NOT evenly spaced however. Take the one bolt out and just turn the engine over and try bolting it into a different hole. All 4 bolts will go in, but they only go in one way.

Yeah if you drill it you may wind up throwing off the entire balance of the motor.....not a good idea.

and remember to torque em down to the right torque specs........I let a guy replace my tranny once and he didn't care I guess and just cranked the bolts down till he felt good. Well lo and behold 250 miles down the road, the little cracks that he put in the flex plat got bigger and bigger till they broke and broke numberous things inside my motor due to overreving............PAY ATTENTION....but it'll line up just sit down and fiddle with it

This same thing scared the HELL out of me when I had to do a rear main seal on my old car. It will line up. I believe it's only 2 holes that are unevenly spaced (on purpose of course).
