ok my shifter seems like it likes to return towarnds the nuetral position. like if i shit into 5th gear it likes to fall towards nutral. is that normal. and is there a way to like grease up the shifter? so it shifts better?

not sure what you mean man?? the car is supposed to go to neutral... I take it you fixed your clutch problem?

check your transmission fluid, i had the same problem 1 time except it kept coming out of 3rd into neutral. found out i was low on transmission fluid.

i got the bolts to line up. cars still up in the air tho. im talking about just the shifter its self. the rod and the part that bolts to the floor. it feels like it wants to lean towards netral when its in a gear like it u pull it back into second and let go it leans towards nutral but still stayes in second. and about greasing it up i ment the ball that connects the rod to the part that bolts to the ground.

You may be pulling it too far, is it the stock shifter?..cause they do travel a little bit.
