do you need Valve sets and valve spring retainers? im not planning on going over 15 boost with bottom end and top end built. im getting the springs themselves but i didnt know if those 2 were actually nesscary? i have a 2.4 head.

if your getting new springs, you may as well get new retainers, but new valves arent necessary unless you're going with oversized valves...

if you havnt gotten the springs yet, crane sells a set of springs and retainers together, look into it

I dont think its a case of having an "improvement"... More of having assurance that your less likely to drop a valve. I think that makes it werth it.

it doesnt matter if it will gain a horsepower or two. its whether or not it will stay together. there are just certain things you need for an engine to live.
