I have two questions:

How does a bad strut mount sound like?

i just saw some oil driping underneath my car, it is coming from the engine and dripping from the area around oil drain plug (not from the plug itself), i have not had a chance to look further for the problem, but what could it be (where could it be coming from)?

have you taken off the oil pan ever or has anyone replaced it?

You might just need a new oil pan gasket. If you can't find the source, its worth it just to go out and buy one anyways. they are only 15 bucks

anywho.. i have a broken front left strut..

and well.. at first it wasn't that bad.. just when i hit bumps, especially when taking corners fast..

and now it squicks even when i accelerate.. or when the car moves violently in general....

I'm gonna have it looked at asap.. but... it's nothing to be all that conserned about.. untill your car falls apart while your rushing to work at 120 mph.

As for the oil leak...
Get underneath the car and look at the oil filter adapter, see if its leaking where it mounts to the block....
Also check to see if your headgasket is leaking while your under there...

can you describe to me how your broken strut mount sounds when you hit a bump? is it a metal knock sound? what is it? and how did you know that it was broken?

the location of the oil leak scares me a bit, very close to the area of the oil filter and drain plug, the rear main seal will leak closer to the tranny if i'm not mistaken. it is very hard to see the back side of the engine (near the firewall), my fear is that it has something to do with my head gasket, although my car runs without any problems, no overheating or anything, and no oil in the engine coolant bottle.....
i'll try and look into it later...
