That's the airdam..... mine was ripped off as well. I have been meaning to replace it.

I believe that it helps scoop air into the radiator and also helps create negative pressure under the car which helps keep the front end from rising at higher speeds.

+1

You guys really do need one of those.. In one of my old auto classes last semester, I was gonna tkae it off but the instructor said that owuld be a bad idea. The airdam serves a purpose and keeps your radiator and a bunch of other stuff nice and cool, problems can arise after taking it off. This is refering to a stock front end though. I ended up buying a new one cause mine was thrashed to hell.

I am gonna assume by the description tag on the picture that is some type of ram air set-up?

I didn't realize that part was technically classified as an air dam since it's only like 1.5" tall... Mine's already ground down to the metal piece behind it that it screws to.

There was someone on the SRTforums that was selling custom ones with like a mirrored aluminum finish, but I can't find the thread. It would just get scratched to hell or ripped off anyways if you ever pull in any kind of driveway... Unless you're still sporting the 4x4 Neon look.
