mine has only done it in the cold... maybe with a CAI there is more condensation build up on the tb plate causing a slight freeze which results in sticking... trying pushing gas pedal before start up and see if it happens...

I relly do not know, just tossing it out there

I do however notice that when I get in I step on the brake and clutch, then start it up. It only died when it was cold the night before. when it does die, I step on the gas, then hit the brake and clutch and VROOOMMMM

At stoplights my car (and I know of others that do it too) idles around 500-600. Just hold your foot on the brake (ATX) and give it the tiniest bit of gas, then it jumps back up to regular idle. I know someone said that a little hole drilled in the TB butterfly fixed it, but it's not enough of a problem for me to justify that.

my car did it 7 times yesterday..........luckily i was able to bump the gas every time to get it running...i'm thinking the rain might have had something to do with it....but ill be taking the car to the dealership tomorrow to see whats going on...

and as a side note....when did we get a spell checker thing...thats pretty badass.

well when i crank it and its acting weird it will go up to about 400-500rpm and die. ive been able to tap the gas once it hits around 400rpm and it will jump on up to regular idle speed....around 900 when the engine is warm and around 1100 when the engine is cold.
