Well, I am coming up on the big 60,000. I have a pretty good idea of what I am going to do, but figured I would get any suggestions.
Plans
Oil/Filter
Tire rotation
Plugs - NGK V-power
Plug wires - Accels
Manual Trans Fluid - Redline MTL
PCV Valve
Any thoughts about that little "Make-Up air filter," the little sponge looking thing in the air box?
Also with a little luck, Ill have my Pistol Grip, Boogers, modified SRT shifter and JonnyMopar bushings installed before then.
I know this will be mentioned so Ill put it out there now. I am not touching the coolant until 5 years or 100,000 miles.
And the air filter was cleaned at 50,000. That too should be good til I reach 100,000 miles.

Maybe check the timing belt as they are rated on average @ 64,000 miles.

I actually did all of that stuff between 50k and 60k. The only thing I didn't do was transmission fluid because I got a fresh transmission at 34k.
Speaking of which, it's probably time to clean my K&N

Service interval in my manual is 168 000km, or a hair over 104 000mi.
For the little sponge filter, pull it out, clean it in some warm soapy water, let it dry then re-install.
Other than that and what's in your list, give the car a good once over and look for any problems that may develop in the future.

Good idea to change the timing belt, check the serpentine belt... And while you are at it, new water pump.

Why did you need a new transmission so early?

What is this about the timing belt and tensioner at 64K? What happened to 105K like the 1st gens? My DOHC timing belt was changed at 103K and it was in wonderful shape but I opted for a new belt for cheap insurance.

in the maintenance schedule it says 105,000. so Ill probably do mine when i hit 100,000 and at the same time do the water pump, coolant, serp belt, etc.

for the manual trans it is. but i want to use an actual manual trans fluid as compared to the auto trans fluid that dodge puts in from the factory.

Car had 34k miles on it and the parts that came out looked like they had ten times that. Happened last September. I bought the car with 27k miles on it in July 05 and packed highway miles on it. No burnouts, no chirping 2nd, no slam-shifting, nothing. If it was just a case of the diff pin sneaking out, then I'd just walk away saying "fuckin Neon". This problem I've heard of. BUT, one of the spiders gauled up the pin so bad that it wouldn't even slide off! Dead ringer for one-wheel rape jobs.

And back on topic. I've also never heard of the timing belt at such a short interval. The old 8-valve motors were 75k and I knew the Neons were even longer than that. As far as the trans fluid, I'm not doing anything to mine until I'm out of my 7/70 (which is pretty soon).

well back to the subject.
coolant flush
thermostat gasket.
new belts unless they look in good shape..
full tranny service
you pretty much covered the other basics..
and if you have the money go the extra step cuz your car will thank you..
new timing belt.
upper cam seal .........went @ 80k
lower crank seal......... mine went at 80k
new water pump .........mine went at 55k
that way you can avoid the small oil and coolant leaks..
also have your front hub bearing inspected. mine went bad at 70k
so pretty much try to get it all done now to save money on labore later on..
