My car had a thing for a while where it wouldn't idle for poop, warm or cold, but the problem was intermittent. A few tanks of FI cleaner and a 1/3 of an aerosol can of TB cleaner seemed to fix it.

i hopes it just somthing like that. the gas i had in there was sitting for over a month but i did put about 10 bucks in a day ago. maybe some sort of cleaner would help. i was kinda thinking oh no! my rear main seal wasnt installed right beacuse of the oil light. but i thought i would see oil dripping if that was the case.

If the rear main was leaking, you'd definitely notice it. Just try a strict regiment of cleaners, it should help. That's the cheapest solution anyway.
PS - The gas should be fine if it's only a month. If it was six months I'd say maybe that could be a problem, but nah.

I just said that's what worked for me and that it probably couldn't hurt anything. Not saying it would fix it.

If you can get your hands on a scan tool you need to watch reference voltages and the major sensors such as TPS & MAP. See if something is momentarily cutting out.

if you did a tranny swap . check the cam sensor connector or possably crank sensor. just a thought.
