i don't think you can use the same sender for both gauges but i dunno. i know you can use the the same port by using a splitter fitting.

on my gauges, i bought the LED 3 packs from autozone in the ricer section & used 2 LEDs in each gauge. lit them up pretty nice. You can see how bright my Air Ride pressure gauge is on my dash in

**EDIT**

BTW i just noticed. Looks like your oil PSI gauge is mechanical & the temp gauge is electrical. i can tell you now by just seeing that that you wont be able to use both gauges on one sending unit

If its mechanical, there isnt a sender. You just get a copper or vinyl line that runs from the head to the guage. You can pick them up from almost any auto parts store for like 5 or 10 bucks.

I had one in my celica for a while.... Sucked when I sprung a leak... Thats why alot of people go with a electronic pressure gauge... But those are as cheap.

You could do like the old hot rodders and mount the guage on the outside of the windshield... But be ready for flaming! lol

For mechanical fuel and oil pressure gauges that you wish to isolate from the interior of your car you can used this: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s ... 7_-1_10333

It's a hundred bucks though....

Probably cheaper to get an electric gauge. Electric oil pressure gauges aren't really that much more expenseive that mechanical ones. The isolation line is really only worth it for fuel pressure gauges, cause electric ones are crazy expensive.

Too big... Besides that, the copper lines are plenty strong. They issue with them leaking is the ends that attach to the guage and the oil port. They are compresssion style fittings that have to be lined up right or they can leak.

You could probable have some heavy duty line made at a shop that would just screw in to the guage and what not

I used teflon tape for mine... werked fine till I was fabbing up an aluminum gauge panel and pulled the guage without noticing. Started a little leak. Not a big deal when I cought it.

Oh, and be warned... If you get the vinyl lines, they kink very easily. I replaced the lines on mine 3 times before I spent the little extra money for the copper.

i thought of a diff way to mount the gauge, im going to cut a hole in the wiper cowl..and mount it on an angle down in the cowl.. so its almost flush with the cowl, and i can still read it..

that way it doesnt have to be in the car :)

Isn't that going to be a pain in the ass to see? I dunno about you, but I don't sit high enough in my car to see down inside my cowl... :-k

This is exactly why I won't by a mechanical oil pressure gauge!
