Anyone with the capability since i cant seem to find the info, i noticed today whjile changing my oil in the van my parents just gave me, the motor looks almost exactly like the srt4s lol the intake side is a tad diff, but the block shape, head shape, valve cover, and everything look VERY similar to the SRT4. AAANDi just so happen to have a srt4 mani and turbo and other stuff sittin around

The SRT turbo will bolt up except for two holes. The 96-00 2.4 DOHC had 8 exhaust manifold holes and the SRT has 10. If you do decide to turbo it on the stock shortblock, go easy. Stock compression is 9.4:1 and the pistons are JUNK. Also, the stock oil pump has raised some issues with some people. Some motors, stock oil pump is fine, others aren't. Not really something I'd gamble with too much.
Valve covers won't interchange (sucks for me, I really wanted the turbo one for my 2.4).
I don't know how extreme you want to go with it, but I'm almost done building my SRT-wannabe motor out of a gutted 98 Stratus longblock. PM me if you want some info. I used the Stratus block, crank, head, valves, and valve cover. Everything else on the motor is either SRT or 2.0 DOHC spec.

I was just going to tell you the same thing, Johnny Mopar is in the process of building a ground up SRT with available parts and from what it seems he is the person to contact for the SRT stratus build up
