ground the wire that gets signal when the clutch is not depressedevilneon02 wrote:is there a way to make a bypass ? instead of buying another alarm / remote starter
you can just find the ground wire and ground it out but than it is always bypassed. but it would be better to use a wire from the alarm that is only grounded when remote starting. to prevent it from being started in gear if people other than you drive it. you can use the ground wire for the transponder bypass if your starter has it.evilneon02 wrote:is there a way to make a bypass ? instead of buying another alarm / remote starter
That works, but it makes it easier for the car to be stolen. if it was hotwired it would stay running instead of quitting after a few seconds. with the transponder bypass the sentry system is only bypassed when remote starting.jonnymopar wrote:Easiest way to get around the Sentry Key is if you have an extra key for your car, take the cover off of the steering column and zip tie a key somewhere in there where it won't get in the way. Voila, no more Sentry key to deal with. Plus, you can use the black keys after that since the car always sees the key that you zip-tied in there.
