ok this is my 2nd battery this has happened to but what happens is the battery will stay charged and the car will start up for a week then after that everytime i go to start the car i will have to pop the clutch. i figured it would be the alternator but the thing is when i pop the clutch the car will run perfect untill the car is turned off again, i figured if it was the alterntor the car would turn off while i was driveing or not be able to stay on at all. does anyone know what the problem could be?

What's the battery voltage? It should be around 13.5 volts.
It sounds like the alternator is working, but just for grins you can check the alternator by unhooking the negative battery terminal while the car is running. If the car stays running, then the alternator is functioning.
You might have a bad starter motor. Does it crank over, and just doesn't catch, or does it not even try?

Sounds like another 2GN starter is bitting the dust...

Check the ignition off draw. Could be a drain somewhere. Check and clean all the connections as well.

yeah, some starters will go bad and drain the battery while the car is off. disconect you battery after you turn your car off and leave it off for an entire night. the next day if the car starts (with the battery hooked back on) then you definetly have a draw some where, which i think it most likely be the starter.
also you have to remember that the car works and amps as well as volts, so your alternator may be putting out enough volts, but not enough amps.
