Do some searching on the subject, there is alot on these forums.

From what i've heard a 50 shot can be run with probably no damage whatsoever to the engine. I know unsuperman said he ran a 75 shot for 2 years with no problems..

Ok... seriously... am I the ONLY one on the board getting tired off all the new members asking questions that have been answered 300+ times? This is getting out of control!

Do a quick search for Nitrous in the forced induction thread, and you'll GET all your answers in a matter of seconds! And why are you creating a whole new thread on the subject, when you've JUST asked it in this one?

AHHH!!! I can take this shit anymore... I've been on here to long already...

man...must have some anger problems if you cant take a question asked more than once. just dont read them or answer them if you have a problem. thanks though.

im new and everytime i search it pops up a forum with like 900 entries and i dont want to waste time reading every one of them when i have already knowledgable people that can answer it quickly.

i just searched for nitrous, selected forced induction

42 results, at least 5 of them about NX.

It's not THAT hard man. That's how I learned everything. I just SEARCHED instead of wasting everyones time.

its not wasting their time. they dont have to answer nor look. if they see a NEX or a nitrous post under a forum thats not forced induc then they can assume its from someone new. i just found out the ways to post in different forums and what not. ive only been on this thing for a week and i dont sit here and study it like a school boy.

stop complaining, seriously what the hell is to argue about. we arent little kids here.

this conversation is done.

for the people that have been on here longer it is. Most of the people that ask these questions havent the slightest clue how to change their oil but they're asking how to hook up a 125 shot to there stock neon with 28" wheels and window tint so they can beat the H3 that their rich neighbor's kid has...

it may say that i've joined up relatively recently, but to be honest i've been on here for a bit, i got my neon 2.5 years ago. Found this sight somewhere down the line, lost interest in the make it 'fast' scene. Forgot my password on here and then got back into it.

I've since wrecked my 2nd gen and bought a turbo 1st gen. So yes, it does get quite annoying to get on here and talk to other enthusiasts, but it's when they have to go through posts about people like i mentioned above that it becomes a pain in the ass.

O yeah, if you can have 2100 hundred bucks in a week...you shouldnt be driving a Neon. So as much as me saying i need new pistons and rods may be a sappy statement to you, you havent been around long enough to tell me that. Thanks...but seriously, no hard feeling to anyone here. Just my $.02

Unsuperman was going through almost 2 bottles a week on a 75 shot for two years not including his other mods plus wasnt he running a pretty high pressure like 1200psi on a NX kit which has larger soleniods so he prolly was pushing close to srt numbers. o yeah and his clutch held up fine for those two years until he went turbo. honestly dont waste your time with boltons you have a 03+ (look for my other post in the general board) i say just go straight forced induction wether its turbo or N20 and dont believe everyones n00bish ohnoezzz!!!!111 naWWWZZZ!!!!1!! they both do the same thing force more oxygen into the block. and those things are something you just have to research on your own. wether you get a book or tread the search engine(and if you do research listen to knowledgable people like unsuperman( just fyi he has a teaching style all his own lol), chris r/t, kernal panic,turboN20, did jackrabbit ever make it over here?) there are several others i just dont remember offhand

i'm not trying to be a dick, i'm just lettin you know where Opi was coming from with his post. Trust me the last thing we;d need is for this site to become what the .org has. So it's all good. You'll grasp more of what we're talking about the longer you stick around.

but yeah, back on track. For the most part the guys are right. Forced induction is the way to go to make any respectable power. Dont get me wrong, there's a lot of ways you could make decent power without forced induction, but it's super expensive and more often than not it'll leave you without a car for an extended period of time while the work is being performed. Like someone said stroke it for more displacement. Give you a lot more torque. But it's not the most practical thing to do, both money wise as well as time wise as the stuff doesnt just bolt in.

other people said weight reduction, this is probably going to be the best route because it's the best bang for the buck mod you can do. Haha, damn it's free. So if you wanna do the basics and see what it does that's probably the easiest way to grasp the concept. But power to weight plays a huge role in racing.

then there's all the other stuff that help you put what power that you do have to use, like the motor mount inserts, suspension. You just gotta do some research and read up on a lot of the stuff but it'll all come back around to help you out.
