How much did u pay for royal purple? and what filter are u using?

yeah i found it for 6ish....i want to try it but idk if i wanna spend the $ on it. I just switched to penz plat and i like it. But still looking for a good oil.

I just started using Redline Oil and have already noticed a differnce from the Mobile 1 I was using (beside costing almost twice as much)

Filter - FIL 1085 - $10.69msrp (i payed 5.45) V8 filter
Oil - Royal Purple - $6-$8 a Qt for 5-30

Damn thats cheap for the filter....iv used Mobil1 filters and K&N filters in the past and there like 11.99 or 12.99

I dont know if it is any benifit of switching again to RP from Penz plat. How long are you running the RP?

the vintage race shop down the street sells it for 5 a bottle...gotta listen to the old man who runs the place tell you how a car isn't supposed to be made of plastic to get it though...

p.s., I think the NAPA gold filter is a Purulator Pure One filter....

NAPA uses Wix filters, and yes if anyone is going to buy a filter from there get the 1085. They're good filters though.

I use the puralator one, I believe... or maybe it is the mobil1... filter that is.

I use the mobil 1 filter, and royal purple oil. Dont remember how much we paid for the oil. We bought a whole case for about $50 I believe.
