Cruisecontrol

Another question from the dutchman. As I was checking the OBD I saw the word "cruise" appear in the digital display. Now my Neon hasn't got cruisecontrol, but I can have it put in at work. Then it would be an aftermarket cruisecontrol. I was just wondering if the factory cruise would tell you the set speed in the digital display. If so, I would like to know if I could hook up the aftermarket one to do the same.

I may be wrong, but im fairly sure it doesnt use the digital display (you do mean where your milage, door open etc. is displayed?) and its not possible to do so.
Im about 90% sure but i am sure someone will tell you if im wrong!

Yep thats what I mean. My father-inlaw has a Renault Laguna which uses the digital mileage part to indicate the cruisecontrol set speed. Since I saw the word cruise appear in the digital part of my gauges, I figured the Neon might be able to do the same...

i know that when cruise control is on it does display the word 'Cruise' but thats it.
It doesnt tell you the speed you have set it at or anything else other than it is on.

Yep, it just says "CRUISE"
