what is wrong?
ok i had gotten a ghetto blaster from my friend and i installed it on my 2gn 00', well installed it and everything and i realized that the sensor on the intake manifold was for a first gen.so i fugred i could run it without it for awhile a throw a code untill i could get a sensor then splice it and make it fit. well i change the fuel rail and everything etc. but when i drove it for the first time, everytime i would hit around 3.5k (manual) it wouldnt let me go past 3.5 the rev just drops, so its like it wont let me go past 3.5k, at first i thought not enough fuel not enough air and i thought maybe i had to like put pressure back in the fuel rail cause i heard somewhere one time your supposed to do that if you remove the fuel rail, i havent done it yet cause i wanted to get a answer first, or my 2nd though was that the sensor isnt letting me due to the fact its not there. does anyone have an idea on what this could be?

If you're talking about the MAP sensor and you dont' have it hooked up thats a pretty important sensor which helps the computer determine how much fuel to add. My guess is that until you get the MAP sensor in there, if thats the sensor you don't have hooked up, then that would be your culprit.

The sensor on the far left (passenger side) of the manifold is the MAP sensor. The car will not run right without it.i thought the map sensor was the one on the throttle body? im talking about the one thats on the manifold on the far left, which sensor is that?
The only sensor on the throttle body is the TPS.
