Rota Slipstreams are going to be the cheapest (around $450 a set) lightweight (13-14lbs)wheels you will find. At least that is what my research has found.

I was checking out flik wheels but i heared that edgeracing is way slow with their shipping and lots of problems with em do you know where i could get my hands on a set of Rota wheels for that price?

Actually Centerlines are really cheap. My buddy just got 18" storms and they were $98 a piece new for polished. They weigh 17 lbs for a 18" so a 16 would prob be around 13-15lbs

I have Kosei K1 wheels. Mine are 15"s but of course they make them in all sizes. Theyre pretty damn light weight.

I think they stopped making the K1...I know Tirerack doesn't have them anymore (in 15" anyway)
When I get rims they will probably be Rotas...wouldn't mind Motegi Traklites...but those are a little more pricey

my 18" motegi RT-5s are real light about 10lbs with tire, the lightest wheels i have ever had yet.

They should still have them. I know they stopped with 17"s for a while, but then brought them back in white only, and then silver later. Kosei seems to be weird like that.

Umm. I'm not calling you a liar. But until I see one of your wheels on a scale with the tire mounted. I would say no.
Depending on what tire you were running, I would approximate your wheel at 19lbs and your tire at about 20lbs. For a total of about 39lbs give or take total.

^^ And the air weight...
Yeah, that is WAY light... some of the best around are Rota Slipstreams, and I have ordered from edge twice now, and no problems, no late shipping, got everything as I ordered.

how do u possibly have a wheel tire combo that light?....tires usually weigh around 16-8lbs alone...wat tires do u have that are so light..if they really are like the 5 lbs i would love some for my neon tho i know the rims are prolly way too pricey

I'm pickin up a set of Enkei RPM2 17X7 that weigh 16.8lbs each, but I don't know what they'll run with the tire (Toyo Proxes 4 205/40ZR-17 84W).

^^^ those tires are probably 19 - 22lbs each.
thats a guess based on the weights of many other brands of that size.

edgracing has all the weights for the tires they offer.
those are 20lbs a tire. The falkens Ziex Ze 512 are the lightest u can get at 17lbs for that size. they are also the cheapest!

For comparison sake, beings that we are talking about light weight rims/tires What is the average weight for stock rims and tires?
I know there are different kinds Steels, 7 spoke, 10 spoke, and the SRT rims. I haven't been able to find the info (its probably right in front of my eyes too.)

that is a reasonable weight. but their is more weight around the circumference of the wheel/tire than on a pair of 15s that weigh the same.

yes i know i was still thinkin bout goin 2 a fifteen...theres a yard that has used rims and i found a stack of all the different years of neons stocker rims and i found the lightest version there was in a steelie and it weighs like 16lbs id say but im not sure how much i would gain just droppin the rim size...wat do u think?

the 14" steel wheel weighs 16lbs 10ozs.

What do snowflakes weigh? I think I saw a post a long time ago on neons.org with a pic of one on a digital scale and it weighed like 14-15lbs??? No, yes, maybe? WIsh I could remember.

that would make sense since they are aluminum. even though they are .5" wider and 1" bigger in diameter they should be a little lighter.
