wondered who has done it, and what they used?, from the train air horns i think i saw crucial post, to other possible options, was browsin ebay for horns... i havent pulled out the passenger headlight to see how much room i have yet, and how its hooked up, is it simply a pos and neg wire?, any suggestions, recommendations?...
maybe..

about the ones with the compresoor,. does it allow you continuous honking?, or do you only get one shot and have to wait to recharge?, never used em or looked into them before....
any help is appreciated,,

hmm, not too big a fan of the "train" sound clips they had .. maybe an electric horn for a big truck or something would do the trick.,...

Some of the people in their sample videos are pretty mean, scaring people like that. Seriously.

Well, the Neon comes with only a 'low' note. I just went to the junkyard and grabbed a 'high' note out of an old Dodge Dynasty (almost any older Dodge will work). Added it to the low note already in place and it works great. I did the same thing to my mom's Stratus and she likes it better now. $10 later, both cars sound like they should have from the factory.

I used to have one on my F-150. I sold it though.

hmm might go that route.. seems the simplest and very effective.. was just at pepboys and saw a high note freeway blaster, easy hookup that i could add to the existing horn.. was it easy to wire up with the existing horn?

Yeah, it was really basic. All you really need to do is splice into the positive wire for the existing horn, then find a good ground. My 2nd horn is mounted below my passenger headlight inside the nose, diagonally down-firing. Just make sure you make very good weather-resistant connections (read: no butt conectors!). If you can possibly splice into the horn wire in a place that you can tuck back into the split black tubing afterwards, that's the best.

that looks simple enough. when you get it installed let me know what you think and where you mounted them.
i was thinking splice into the oem horn so when you press the horn button these go off. as well as the oem horn, even though i doubt you will be able to hear the oem horn. but in the event these failed you would still have the oem horn operational.
