Spring cleaning bug hit me early so I wanna get my car cleaned from the inside out. I have all the screws out, but the center console wont get out, the e-brake is all the way up and my ATX is set in "1" and it keeps hitting the e-brake. How the hell do I get it out?

did u take the screw of thew front of the shifter nob?? it should just slide off if you took the screws from inside the storage compartment and the ones in the cupholders off. try sliding th e back up first to get it over the e-brake.

not sure about the atx making a difference, but you just pull back and up. you have everything right so far, I dont see why its not coming. You have all six screws out right? might help leaning the seats back to get a better grip. make sure the shifter is as far back as possible too, if u havent already.

Slide both seats all the way back and lay them as flat as possable. YOu may have to pull the ebrake up a bit more....but the whole assembly shold bend/flex slightly when removing it.

yeh if you got auto you got to tke off the big shift knob thing to remove it. also you might need to heman the ebrake up some more to make it so it can clear the slot. make sure all screws are removed too. including removing the little storage compartment box thing with its screws. if anything you could probably take the ebrake cables off the hand brake lever to give you some easier movement with the hand brake. i doubt you should need to do that though. i removed my console tons of times. came out pretty smooth every time too. i always found it best to kind of lift it at and angle fom the back then push it up forward a little to make it clear the hand brake. gotta play around with it really.
