metal imperfections
my brain must not be thinking steel right now. but im made a new bracket for my XM radio. in order to do it i had to bend the piece with a pair of vice grips. so i have a few little dents in the metal. not too noticable, but i was wondering if anyone had any tricks for getting these out?

might make a new one, it wasnt difficult it just took a lot of time.
all that sanding and priming and sanding sounds more difficult than making one.

If it's not very deep, just give it a quick hand sand and a fresh shot of paint. If it's a little deeper, take a quick and light pass with an angle grinder and paint.
For that you would probably be ok with a quick sand and paint.

might soak it in some paint thinner to remove all the paint and then go at it with some sand paper.
then repaint.
then repaint.

I understand how he feels though
I hate to have ANYTHING wrong on my car - yes, it is a car - but I paid lots moolah for this thing, I am going to be a good steward of it. Which is probably what Frank is doing
Besides, I am also really OCD, so I cant stand it!

Looking good
. I see you've got one of those official Chrysler "Five Star" notebooks too. Heh, I used to buy them just because they said Five Star on them. By the end of college, I was known as the on-campus Mopar nut.
