since the accident i had water rusted my headlight bolts.. so when removing my headlight the large bolt broke


question

what is the best way to get it out.. i think i have like 3/8's left at the top where the head broke off maybe less

lube it up real good first. WD40 works, brake fluid is even better(just don't get it on any paint).

Take a flat head screw driver, and a hammer. Use the screw driver like a chissle. Place the head on top of the broken bolt, let it grab a thread of the bolt, and slowly hammer the "chissle" in the direction you want it to turn(leftly loosey). eventually it should be able to loosen by hand, or you can get a pair of vise grips on it to help you out.

by an "easy out" it counter drills into the screw grips in an allows you to unscrew the remaining section. They come in various sizes but I'm not sure how much they cost off hand...probably found at home depot or so

I had this happen to mine. someone overtightned the bolt and it snapped...i still havent drilled it out, but i think thats what im gonna have to do since there isnt enough left out try to twist it out :?
