Grill Removal?

does anybody know how to remove a sxt style grill from a 2003 -up neon? i want to see how my car looks with out it, plus a little part of the black grill insert needs work, but i couldnt get it off by myself.

it seems i would need to take the entire bumper off for the job, because even though i can easily get the top bolts and taps off, there are clips and screws it seems i cant reach.

anybody else tried this and suceeded?

grill removal w/o removing the bumper (with out takin a sawzall to the bumper) is not possable
