srt shifter measurment

srt shifter measurment

i knwo this is an odd request, but im lookign for a measurement of the notch on an SRT shifter assembly. i wanna mod my shifter to use my SRT knob ive got without it popping off all the time. here's a diagram for an explanation of what im needing..... id really like this to be as precise as possible....

I don't know if I still have that piece, as I cut it off. But it may be laying around on the garage floor. However, I won't even be able to try and find it till the weekend.

If you don't have an answer by then, I will try and find it and give you a measurement. I should be able to give you a measurement to the thousandths place, .xxx.

sounds good thanks bud. i planned on using a micrometer to measure my friends, but he says his knob wont come off....

oh well. thanks anyways, but i jerry rigged it with a couple wraps of electrical tape aroudn my chopped shifters shaft. then proceeded to pound it on with the heel of my hand. its on good now. :lol:

dude, just jb weld the knob on there... the knotch dont hold for shit.... mine always used to pop off.
