The exhaust will hang below the bumper, no cutouts needed.. I actually have a Borla Exhaust sitting in my spare bedroom.

i just got my dual outlet catback borla system from modern performance yesterday. i paint my lips and install it this weekend. i would do cutouts. why have it hang below the bumper? gross. make it look classy and stock like it came on the car. i have the mopar rear lip and doing the 2 pre lined cutouts and having the exhaust installed and bent perfectly in the middle of both of those holes.

looks better and you will be happier in the long run. dont be a low hanger. tuck that shit.

Its got a nice deep tone, and at WOT it roars, and then while in gear and slowing down it likes to pop alittle. I am running with a CAI so that helps with the growling sound.

Cool, it's not raspy or anything either, right?

I don't think it is raspy at all.

I'm another huge fan of the Borla kit for the Neon. It sounds simply awesome. Only thing I did was remove the tips because my car looks mostly stock and I hated the big ass tips on it. I cut mine so it's a little bit underneath the car. I had planned on it resonating in the trunk area alot more after that and surprisingly, it didn't at all.

i love the exhaust (borla) but if it isnt tucked and pre cut holes for it....it looks kinda dumb. everything hangs. gross. and the tips stick out when you do it that way too. they stick out farrrrr.

I do plan on getting something for the bumper, if not a new bumper with the holes in it, but I'll deal with the way it looks for now (which isn't too bad).

I have the Borla exhaust on a 2000 Plymouth Neon LX. I absolutely love it. I didn't have too cut anything it fits just fine. I think it looks great under the bumper without any modifications.
