FedEX is the problem. Without contacting them and asking them directly I couldn't say what paperwork exactly is required. I do know when it comes to cross border shipping to Canada they like to make things really complicated. I've heard of issues with them. Hell, the last time I had some warranty parts shipped to me I had to become a registered importer before I could recieve a package via them from the states. Never had that happen before :tardbang:

Do yourself a favour, and a favour to the person you're shipping to: use USPS. Take it to the postoffice and ship it that way. It's cheaper, it's easier, and they'll help you fill out any paperwork necessary. Not only that but the person you're shipping to won't have to pay any brokerage fees ($35), and may not even have to pay duty. Not only that, but pickup is convenient at your local postoffice during normal hours, no leaving crap on front porches.

CanadaPost/USPS FTMFW!!!

Other wise, I suggest you call Federal Exorcist in the morning and ask them what's up. You probably need the 409D filled out in quadruplicate :tardbang:

I agree with others, use USPS, there easier, cheaper, and ship faster than most other companies. I had an emblem ship to the UK in one week with no issues and to canada in a few days with no issues...

US Postal Service = the way to go. I typically ship smaller items and USPS always works, plus it's cheap.

watch out though with USPS, they loose more packages than any other shipper... why? I think because they ship way more crap than anyone else, considering the bulk of letter mail they give.
