Lighting question

Post by 01WhiteNe0n » Mon Mar 19, 2007 2:08 pm

Easlier yesterday i installed my cd player and then later that night I turned on my lights and nothing lit up, I would say fuse but the high beam light the turn signal and headlight indicators all light up. What could this be nothing around heat controls, shifter, or spedometer light up. And its hard to do speed limit like that when a cop is on your ass lol ( happened last night i had my face so close to make sure i wasnt doing like 50 or something)
Thanks for your help.

actually, in this case hooking up the illum wire wrong really wont do anything, since all it does control dimming on your aftermarket stereo - and usually, company's like pioneer and panasonic, sony, etc will use colors close to most stock cars from chrysler (I know for fact pioneer does) and if you used a dash harnes wiring kit from metra or scoshee (sp?) they color match the wires, so it makes it nearly impossible to screw up  check your wiring from stereo to plug (I hope you didnt hack up stock plug and used a kit) and make sure everything matches... check fuses too.
