help deciding
I got my volt gauge and then got it all hooked up and such. then it didnt read right, so i have to send it back.
im having a hard time deciding whether to get the same one or just get an autometer one to match the factory gauges.
currently i have a cyberdyne digital gauge. it displays green and it matches the stock illumination pretty well. its gauge 4 in this thread: http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=17 ... volt+gauge
so what do you think. say the hell with cyberdyne or give them another shot.

Why do you insist on it being a digital gauge?

I say scrap the whole volt gauge idea and go oil pressure, but that's me.
Ah well, at least you went with my gauge choice from the other thread. Good to hear that it matched.
Just curious, where were you measuring from when you concluded that it wasn't reading right?

my dad has one of those nice volt meters that i was using. i measured across the battery and got 13.9 volts. then i measured the voltage at the signal wire right before it went into the gauge and got 13.9, and then the gauge read 13.0.jonnymopar wrote:Just curious, where were you measuring from when you concluded that it wasn't reading right?
