Where abouts in Socal are you located? They are kind of local to me as well.

Based on there site, they should let you walk in and pick it up:

Let us know how it goes. There are tons of Shops in Socal that offer up sick deals if you find them.

i went there yesterday, checked out a few hoods. they make some damn good stuff from what i can tell (but i don't know much about it). the edges look to be wrapped under, not cut, the skeleton isn't completely there but looks complete enough to keep it from flapping around like a piece of paper, and its only costing 350 total for an OEM srt4 cf.
they said that if later on down the road, if i want something else, they could **ahem** work with me (wink wink).
so righ now they are in the process of making my hood and i should have it in time to install next friday.

pictures and review to follow ASAP...

cool, keep us updated. As a heads up though, I would recommend test fitting it, then taking it to a body shop afterwards to have a few coats of clear put on it. Trust me, it doesn't matter how good the carbon product is It is best to be safe than sorry.

It is best to get that done prior to linstalling it as opposed to having to deal with it later.

Is this hood going on a non SRT 2gn, or SRT4?

I second that about having a couple of coats of clear put on...mine started hazing about a year later. I had it put on about the same time I had the car painted and the body shop reccomended clearingit, but I didnt think it needed it since it was brand new. Wish I wouldve done that from the start :?

Either Irwindale or Fontana I am assuming. I would like to meet up, but my work/school schedule makes it difficult.

Actually, $350 for a carbno SRT hood is actually pretty good if the quality/fitment is good compared to online prices. But I also agree, becuase there are shops in socal where you can walk in with Cash and walk out with a VIS carbon hood of good quality for $200-$300 installed depending on who you know and where you go.

I have seen friends with Civics pick up carbon hoods from $150-$200. Bastards! lol

Is there any update on the status of the hood?

called them...they said that the hood is going to be going into the finishing process friday afternoon and may be available by C.o.B then or for sure on monday.

got the hood, installed it and put in pins. (i know that opinions are split, but better safe than sorry).
Pics will be up in about a week, i am headed out to sea.
during the install i noticed my passenger side headlight mounting tabs are broken. and the frame might be a little bent...my fender on that side isn't parrallel to the other. so...of i go onto another fix it project.

How does it look? Is the quality/fitment good?

Personally, hood pins don't do a whole lot for me. I don't know which type of hood pins you have, but I am giong to assume that they are the traditional ones commonly seen. If I where going to go the hood pin route, I would go with these:

They have a more cleaner look and don't stick out like a sore thumb.

Let's get some pictures up!

those pins=the hotness.

i got some pins from pep boys. they're just plain chrome ones with the solex(sp?) locks. once i get back on dry land, i'll be painting them black.

^^above reason for lack of pictures...
