How much horse power does a stock 03 R/T make? and Why?

Just curious,
How much horse and torque does a stock 03 R/T make? I think its like 150 horse but I am not sure.
Also I wanted to know what the difference in the 03 R/T motor is compared to the stock 03 neon. I think it is the better exhaust, intake, and DOHC. Is their anything I missed? Oh and does the RT have a different computer than the non rt neons?
Looking forward to your input.

The R/T is still a SOHC
The differance is the magnum engine in it. Which I believe the main differance is the magnum head flows better
150 hp sounds about right

2003 R/T Neons are rated at 150HP.
Some of the main differences include the entire head, cam included. Different exhaust manifold, different intake manifold. Still SOHC though.

Thanks, I must have been thinking of the 1 gens beeing DOHC for their high out put. Just wondering still what is it about he head that makes such a big difference beside the cam? And what is the likely hood of being able to build my stocker head to proform to the R/T level. P.S. my bro is giving me his stock srt 4 exhaust o2 housing and all for a steal. think I will notice any hp gains?

The 01 has a better cam then the 02-03 RT/ACR
Also that 150 hp isnt at the wheels its at the crank.

2001-2003/4 Dodge Neon R/T are all the same.
The head is ported differently and the combustion chambers are shaped differently. You could port and polish your head and change the cam but it would be much easier to just buy a used R/T head.
As far as the exhaust, you'll notice no low end gain, and slight top end gain, and alot more sound.

Yeah I figured that it wouldn't be whp but its still better than what I have now.
Just a question, am I realy speaking about the magnum head swap that I have read about alot on the forums? If so

Not to sound like a jerk, but a larger price doesnt necessarily mean its larger. I assume you have proof of this? In what way is the 01 cam larger?

from cheapo gas to premium it's a 20-25 cent jump per gallon...so it's more than a dollar....i mean it's not that much more...but it is

^^^ 20 cents a gallon...how much does our tank fill....10 gallons at most....so .20 *10 would be $2 more when u fill up

you know,
I saw it once on .org, and the difference is a not a whole lot - but I do not know enough about that stuff anyways
edit:
01 Mag Cam: Duration (@ .006"): Intake - 212 Exhaust - 228.5 Lift: Intake - 8.75mm (.344") Exhaust - 8.0mm (.315")
Comp 200 Cam: Duration (@ .050"): Intake - 200 Exhaust - 206 Lift: Intake - .356 Exhaust - .336
Comp 400 Cam: Duration (@ .050"): Intake - 205 Exhaust - 206 Lift: Intake - .384 Exhaust - .336
95 vs. (2001) cam specs
intake/exhaust
Lift (mm) -> 7.8/7.03 (7.2/7.0)
Duration (deg) @ 0.5mm Lift -> 216.8/229.1 (207.2/229.1)
Valve open (deg) @ -> 4.9ATDC/4.37BBDC (13.9ATDC/43.7BBDC)
Valve close (deg) @ -> 41.7ABDC/5.4ATDC (same)
Overlap (deg) -> 0.5 (0.0)

Those numbers don't mean a whole lot, because the mag cam numbers are measured at .006. So, don't just look at them and compare them straight across. The '01 Mag cam is smaller than the Comp 200 and the Crane 12, although not a whole lot. The '02-on mag cams are just a bit smaller than the '01...but honestly it's not even worth worrying about. I would put money on the fact that if you dyno'd a car with the '01 cam, then switched to a newer mag cam and dyno'd the exact same car with only the cam being different, the differnce in WHP would be 1-2 at the most. Probably less than 1 whp.
Also.....you don't need premium fuel just to use a mag cam. You don't need premuim fuel for ANY cam. Only if you use the Mag ECU or a AFx ecu, because it is spark timing that requires the premium fuel that is more resistant to detonation.
