it depends if its the Bank1 or Bank2, my ex had the problem with hers, ended up it needed both o2 sensors, Bank 1 is Upstream and Bank 2 is Downstream, hope that helps

is that what 1/1 part means? Bank 1 is the sensor in the pipe right after the manifold, and Bank 2 is the one in the cat?

I contacted DCX this morning and im waiting for a reply......
The 1/1 (upstream) O2 sensor is used to monitor the engine's performance and efficiency, not the converter on our cars. The 1/2(downstream) O2 monitors CAT efficiency...
Id get your hands on a new updtream O2 sensor and go from there. But I highly recomend not installing any aftermarket O2's on a DCX product since there not ....um how do I say this.......good enough?
We at the dealership had tried using the "Other" O2's out there on DCX products since we either were out of stock, or never stocked an O2 for the certain vehicle. Once the O2 was installed, everything was fine for a few moments and then boom, CEL back on again for a bad O2. Granted, this mostly happened on NGC cars, but do you want to really chance it?

you can get cheap sensors on ebay for our cars... at least the non-ngc neons.. i have been running borg warner universal sersors and have had absolutely zero problems in over 2500km... Still no check engine light with the non-fouler mod too.. so im happy.. i could see universal sensors not working on the ngc's because they like to be picky..

anyone know anything about this? I dont want to go buying and installing a new cat if it is the 02 sensor, and i dont want to have to buy a new 02 sensor if it is the cat?

update. since i work at a transmission & automotive shop. They finally had time to inspect my car. and told me its not the O2 sensor but a vacuum leak that is causing the problem........ thats sucks. i need to goto the DMV and ask for 2 month permit.
