sunroof will not open

My sunroof will not open in my car, the motor is getting power. You can hear a clicking noise when trying to open the sunroof. I popped off the glass today to take a look and did not really see anything wrong. Is there anyway to manually open it to see if it is something with the sliders jamming up? Any tips to getting this fixed? I guess I will have to remove the headliner to see more of what is going on?

I've heard of this happening, and the best advice I can give is to read this thread. I've never personally had to deal with mine not working, I just try to keep it lubed.

What do you guys all use to lubricate your sliders? I want to do mine before it gets bad...

CRC brand spray silicone. In an aeresol can like WD-40. Seems to work fine.....:fingerscrossed:

Ive had the same problem with my sunroof not opening.. That thread seem more 1gn specific. I read it and a lot of ppl seemed to get 1/2 of their sunroof open instead of having their sunroof not open at all, Maybe I just didnt read it that well..

I agree, mine is like yours mine will not even open. Once I get some time I will rip out the headliner and take a look to try and see what is going on. When I get it figured out I will let you know what it is, did you get your sunroof working?

Nope I sure didnt, its like 90 out side and it sux w/o a sunroof....
