I want to change the MT oil in the 01 R/T. What kind of oil does it take for this transmission, or what works the best for people with this trans. Thanks for the help.

ATF+4, Mopar, Valvoline or any other brand that has ATF+4

Use the fluid for the T350, it's 4874465 part number. Like $12 each quarter at dealer, buy 3 bottles.

How about Amsoil's
Synthetic Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid (MTF)
SAE 5W-30
That would be very nice for you trans. Under a PC account is about 7 bucks a quart or 8.60 a quart if you just ordered it outright.
Plus shipping and handling but they make great stuff.

I would use anyone of the Synchromesh fluids that I mentioned in the thread linked in JRM's post.
For an 01 model year car I would definitly stay away from trans fluid.
