screw in the door handle (youll see a little tab you can pop open and one in the door handle.
get a door panel removal tool from AZ or similar parts store. Start on the bottom edge of the door and pop alll snap pins. pannel will lift slightly and start to remove. You will have to undo the swing snaps for thlock and door handle then the panel should remove.

and since its the first time your doin it, it will sound like its breaking something, lol, but its not...(hopefully) i didnt use a removal tool, i just got a couple small screwdrivers worked in there till i could get a grip and snap out by hand....

its a 2000, run by the dealer and pick up new door clips, they are guaranteed to break. I got tired of replacing em and ended up securing the panels on the wifes 98 w/ zip screws hehe.

mine 01 and they never broke ? use a big screw driver and pull it out till you can grab it and pullll and pop pop pop they'll come out and then door should be free enough to replace the speaker. If not the will be two rods inside just disconnect and the door panel will be free.

Get your self a flat head screw driver. push on the door panel close to the candle. you will see a c clip. youll need to push on one of the ends. the clip will pop off and the handle will pull off.

sooo.. sorry i will re ask.. i want to see the face of the speaker, with no mesh in front......... they are infact attached correct?

the mesh on the door speakers is part of the door panel. It is NOT attached to the speakers. I have heard both setups (cut out and non) and there is no differance to me. I personnaly would NOT cut it out as it covers and protects the speakers plus others cant see what you have.
