no cat?

so my exhaust manifold and Catalytic Converter got all clogged up Friday afternoon before i left work. so what did i do? break the shit out of honeycomb from both and resinatlled car runs soo much smooth and faster without that shit.

believe it or not...
The converter does not really create that much of a restriction when working properly....

I knocked my cat out and didnt really notice any difference in performance and it beat the crap out of my muffler to the point that i had to replace it.

Your Better off just getting a Magnaflow High Flow cat..atleast your car will be legal..Just a Thought...

I agree with this. Unless your boosted taking the cat off really doesnt help for anything except to make your car louder. But if you goto a high flow it keeps your car legal and you get very close performance. I took the cat off of my car before I was boosted and I highly regretted it, I completly lose any bottom end power that I had.

well yes i have to replace both exhaust manifold and Cat converter. because i have to smog my car next month. anyone knows a great deal on

Exhaust manifold and Cat converter?
i need to buy it or it will not pass CA smog test

plus i plan on buying a new muffler
