Strut Braces do very little on Neons. They mostly come in handy to keep your Strut towers from Straining too much when you lower the car. Never just do the front bar and not the rear. It Plows very bad. Buy the Combo set from Performance Autowerks. $220 gets you both the front and rear and they are Tripoint Bars for extra rigidity.

Personally I would buy Bigger Sway Bars, Solid motor Mounts, SOlid Transaxle Mount, Mopar Rear Tension Struts, Mopar Lower Control Arms, H-Brace with Traction Bars, Lowering Springs and several other nessicary suspension Components BEFORE Buying Strut Braces.

Strut Bars are nice AFTER you address all the above. By themselves you won't get the full benefit and for autoX you need to put your money on componants that will yeild the most performance gains. Sway bars will do WAY more for stability than strut bars.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

I found after adding my Vibrant Type V strut bars rear then front that out back it settled it down from being nervous. Then up front I honestly did not notice anything until low speed stuff it bites harder going around sharper corners. Does not slide the tires as much.

That is in enthusiastic driving but not racing. I have full poly with 20/22mm F&R sway bars on a lowered car. I think once you have the rest done it helps tie things together and settles stuff down a bit. You can feel the stiffness when runnin corners.

I recommend them. Based on your budget you can get the uber cool really stiff DC/Mopar stuff or for 50 bucks an end the Vibrant bars are cool. Think of it as a fine tuning tool not a big performance benefit. OK if you are going Solo1 and running mountains at 100+ then you probably NEED them or better yet a CAGE!!! But hey.
