Fog Lights
I'm picking up OEM foglights for my base 2000. i have the wiring in place, but will the lights work without a fog switch? or wil i have to get a new MFS? what are my options? could they turn on automatically with the low beam, and turn off with the high beam?
thanks,

if you get new mfs, I think you need a new clock spring as well... you can always wire them into a switch in the dash elsewhere, or run the power to the low beam itself so when you turn on the highs you have no power
If you do the latter, I believe an upgrade in wire will be necessary along with an inline fuse. Other guru's in car electronics can chime in, I never worked with a system like the neon before that is so damn wimpy.

in my '03 sxt i bought a new mfs from a junkyard, i havent wired it to the fusebox yet but the light in the dash comes on when I turn the foglight switch on, and goes off with the high beams if that helps. There's no need for a clock spring when you change the mfs.
