Cam Sensor install - anything I should know?

I have to toss in a new cam sensor today. It looks pretty straight forward. Just gotta get to it with some skill. Prolly will just take out the battery and it's only four bolts and a harness plug to change it out.

Is there anything else I need to do while it's out? Is there anything I need to do to seat it special? Do I need to adjust anything to get it ready for the first start up after the install?

Thanks.

You pretty much got it down. Although you probably have it done by now! :D

I had to remove the battery tray because of 1 hard to reach bolt but it was fine. No codes. Runs very strong now. Nearly no leaked oil. Had it ripped apart and put back together in under an hour in my work parking lot. Those pesky A/C hardlines got in the way too but I was able to make due.

Working on cars in khakis and a polo shirt in 90 degree weather FTL. Not having to spend $300+ for the dealership to bend me over on a simple car diagnosis and repair FTW! This is the first "major" thing that has gone wrong with my car since I got it new nearly 3 years and 60K miles ago. And who said Neons are not reliable?!?!
