Update: Stalling issue!!

Well guys I haven't been on here in a long time but I have been hard at work on the car and ran into issues

. My car stalls on me everytime I am driving it. I can start it up but when I drive for about 5 minutes it stalls. I loose all electric power, engine cuts off, no gauges, no headlights, no interior light, no emergency flashers, and no power steering. I have a new battery installed due to my old one being busted on the top of it. I have disconnected all aftermarket components such as car alarm, remote start, underbodies, CD player, amp wiring Kit. and a couple of other things. I just don't understand it

. Also as a note to anyone that wants to help with info on this. I can take my cables off of my car battery and re-seat them on the battery and the car will crank right up. But after about 5 minutes or so it does the exact same thing. It is like when I disconnect the battery it resets something maybe like resetting the ECU or something. Any help would be greatful! Thanx in advance guys.

thought of that too, but the thing is...the car won't stay on long enough to run a test on it.
as for new info I have:
The car will crank over, run for 17 seconds each time and then turn off. turn the key over again and doesn't have any power at all. I can take the battery cables off and put them back on and it will crank right over. But then turn off in 17 seconds again. I have timed it several times and it is at 17 seconds each time. just plain weird if you ask me.

doesn't stay on even 5 minutes. Only 17 seconds. Why you might know something to try?

the car looses all power in 17sec?
Take a multimeter and hook it up to the battery....what voltage is it at?
When the car dies what voltage is it at then?
The battery is mainly there to start the car and thats it! but it also serves as reserve power if the alt takes a crap....
If the battery maintain's 12volts at all times during this so called problem, then I would look elsewhere....
Check for bad grounds, check for proper voltages....
The pcm will not be realted at all to the entire car losing power, you must have other issues....
Dont forget to check the pdc on the interior for power when this problem kicks in...
The underhood pdc sends power to the interior pdc...if the interior pdc loses power you have a problem with the underhood pdc...
If its related to anything like the caravan, we have seen the pdc's under the hood get major corosion problems causing weird ass problems like what you describe...

PDC as in Power Distribution Center where the fuses are? one in das and one in front of the battery?
yes all power is lost in 17 seconds. As stated, it will die and then when you try to turn the key again it will do nothing due to nothing being powered. I can un hook the battery cables then hook them back up and it will crank again.

there's a fuse block located on the interior, open your driv side door and pull the access cover off the side of the dash, make sure you have 12volts to that pdc when you have this so called problem.
If there is no 12volts to that fuse block, then back trace the main power to the underhood pdc....
Right now I dont know exactly wich wire it is...

ok I will check it out tomorrow if I get a chance.
new info:
If I crank the car and hold the gas at 4k rpm the car will still die.

I still say alternator. 9/10 when I have electrical problems with ANY car I've ever owned, that's what it was. Those things to crazy things when they're dying.
Get a PT one, upgrade, and if that's not what it is... at least you have something better than stock in it.

You said you can't turn headlights or anything interior... when it does this and you turn the key to the on position, can you hear the fuel pump prime the fuel system?

not after it shuts off. But the first turn of the key after reconnecting the battery cables I can.

This might seem pretty weird, but to me it
almost sounds like a SKIM problem

. If the car runs only for 17 seconds it's real similar to when you try to start your car with the wrong key; car starts, then dies immediately after. Is the PCM throwing any codes? Have you checked?

No codes are thrown and none have been thrown. Checked all that already. I have the car at the shop right now getting looked at but will be Monday before I can find out what it is. I am hoping alternator but it could be something else. I thought it could be a SKIM issue as well since I have a remote start system on the car but I unhooked it and used my facotry key and it does the same thing. So I know it isn't my bypass module causing the issue.
