Ding, check oil light.

For about the past week, my little check oil light has been coming on. It only comes on when I'm stopped. If I rev the engine just a tad it goes off and dings on again a few seconds later.
The performance doesn't seem to be affected. I checked the oil and it seemed fine.
I was going to have the oil changed after another 500 miles or so but I suppose I'll have to head in early if I can't figure this out. (it's been about 2,500 or so miles since last change).
Never had a problem like this before.

On the backside of the engine near the bellhousing is the oil pressure switch, unplug the wiring into it and look for oil seapage around the switch or in where the connector plugs in. The switch itself could be going bad causing your problem.

check the oil press sensor, worst possible cause could be that the bearings on the crank shaft got spun, and its not creating oil pressure any more,,, that happened three diff times on my old car,,.... i would check and replace that oil press sensor though ...

Oh, and did we mention it's a pain in the azz to get to? I relocated mine to the back of the battery tray via a grease gun hose and homemade distribution block (with x-tra ports for future gauge) when I had the exhaust manifold off! 4000 miles no leaks, yet.

Actually, it may be low on oil too, when I took hard turns to the right, and my oil was low, light would come on and ding... then when I installed my OP guage, it showed me that the pressure dropped LOW during that... how did I fix it? I added oil, it was ALWAYS low... I use Penz PLat now, oil does not burn as much as the Mobil1

that is an oil pressure light, not an oil level light

yeah I know, but doesn't low oil level cause a reduction in pressure on hard turns?

I forgot to mention that I checked the oil. It's not low, if anything, it's a above the line. (I checked after letting the car sit for a while on a level surface).
It's only been 2000 miles since the last change (thought it was more) but I'll see if I can check those things.
My step dad works for a dodge dealership but I didn't want to take it in if I didn't have to yet. Thanks for the responses.
