Fog's the factory way...

I need to know how to do it :D

Yes i have searched, but i have yet to find anything that explains what i want to do. I want to install fog lights factory style. Which means i want to have the MF Switch with fog control, have it run to the proper fuses and etc. not really interested in a how-to (would be nice) but mainly a part list of what i need

the given parts are:
bumper w/ fog holes
fogs
mf switch w/ fog control

i can use the FSM to figure out how the wiring goes. and use it as a 1/2 ass install manual too

i know it doesnt ahve fuses for it which brings another question to mind. i see in the current fuse slots, theres something behind the fuse panel that holds the fuses inplace to the wires, yet the empty fuse slots do not have the holder pieces. is that something any part store will have? or something special from dcx?

In case anyone is wondering why, i like to install stuff to mach factory as much as possible. (and im sure others are wondering the same thing too. :) )

Yeah i have my fogs on the way. I was going to use them just for looks w/ my new 02 bumper. But i'm thinking about getting them all wired.

All i should need is the MF switch. I have to go back to the junk yard and see if i can find one. And the wiring for them.

This would be a nice How-To.

I may be working on a site that would hold a lot of how-to's most of which i hope to get pics to go along.

So If some1 has a how-to w/ this take some pics. I will add it to my site when i get it up and running.

Srt4Store wrote a how-to on installing fogs if you didn't have them. I think he did it to factory specs but either way, its a good read. http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=14889 I don't know if this will help or not but good luck to you.

yea, i posted that 1/2 a year ago. but what that covers is a basic how to wire them up to a regular mf switch. What im lookin for is how to wire it to a mfs switch w/ the fog control. i might just have to carefulyl study the FSM :(

I think you will need the MFS and clock spring from a car with fogs... also, you shoul dhave all the wiring for fogs in the bumper already, I know I do... to make fogs work like factory on my car I will need the mfs and clock spring
