help!!!!

i am using a AFX/r ATX in my MTX and if I HOLD the clutch IN the car will IDLE..... if I let the clutch out the car idles all over the place... and stalls at stop signs........ NO CODES thrown...
anyone??????

why are you doing this. an ATX computer looks for a few things that your car can't give it. What all of those are I can't recall I think lock up, and couple other things.

casue I cant get a hold ogf one for a MTX. the nly one I can was from this forum and the guy sold me a LEMON PCM. and up here in canada it is al most impossible to find these things. adn I have a huge cam and shit so using my stock PCM is not a good idea.

you can use your stock pcm, but I think that the afx ONLY works on the type of car your pcm is set up for -- ie, atx pcm must be on an atx car whereas mtx pcm muct be on an mtx pcm

According to Howell himself, they will work in an MTX fine, it will throw a code for the torque converter lockup. There other things going on with your car. PCM is not the problem

jamie sry your PCM is FINE the one I got from ANOTHER person here was a lemon.
