ATX problem

I have '01 ES Limited Edition and sometimes I have to apply more force when I shift from park to drive.
Do you think this is a big problem? Thanks.

hmm, if your parked on a hill this could be a problem, or when your parked up against a parking bumper or something. because your putting pressure on the parking brake I believe.

is your car on a hill or slop? also every time u put your car in park apply the park brake. Because if you park your car without the park brake on the transmission is holding all the weight
