I was just thinking...

What about aerodynamic drag. This would create a smooth surface. You would also probably want one for the other side too. This would only be if you wanted to get really picky about drag.

Not a bad question, probably minimal.... I think the other side of the car lacks the bolt holes that are so conveniently located on the driver side.

I read somewhere on Dodge forum that when you seal up the bottom that you get more airflow to the CAI creating a ram air effect through the front bumper at higher speeds, and when it's not sealed the air flow on the bottom will create a vacuum effect, robbing your engine of air. though minimal it was an improvement :)
