headlights dimming

when i have my headlights on at night, about every minute my headlights will flicker, and i dont know what the hell its doin! anybody?

if it happens when you're sitting still, pop the hood and put a volt meter on your battery. maybe you're charging low intermitantly.

There have been many people having this problem. When I installed a grounding kit, it went away. BlackRoseRacing says that on his car, it was just a loose ground. So different people have had different methods of fixing it.

Just curious, is your A/C on (defrost,also) when this is happening? My Neon doesn't do that but my jeep will every time the A/C cycles on the headlights flicker/dim momentarily. (even at highway speeds) Also check your alternator belt, it may be slipping a little.

i dont use my ac, it f***ed up too. so maybe, i might need a belt.
