arghh!
arghh!
it was during the end of summer when i got my mopar lip kit painted and installed. now im having problems with the rear lip. i followed proper instructions when i installed the rear lip and used the alcohol pad to clean the bumper where the tape would be. then i pressed the lip against the bumper so it would stick good. not even 2 weeks past since i installed the rear lip and the 2 sided tape is already coming off. im uber pissed. anybody know how to fix this? i already have 2 huge gaps between the lip and bumper. i hate 2 sided tape, its one of the shittiest products i ever used!

i did that. drilled the holes and everything. the reason they 2 sided tape is there is to close all the small gaps. seems like this tape came from china.Canada wrote:Did you drill and bolt it as well as the two sided tape?
I know mine pulled away slightly, but the bolts held it on just fine.

It's all that lead, the weight of it is pulling the tape off!
You could try some side moldig adhesive, but you still have to reinstall the kit basically to do it. Still sucks, tho. I'm not a fan of sticky stuff either. When it starts to come loose it still sticks - to dirt and small debris, which rubs against the paint, blah, blah, and so on

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

haha, well...seems like the lip keeps pulling apart from the bumper. it rained 3 days in a row. rear lip is coming off sunday. probably will wait till i get the rear bumper painted. anybody got pics of any 03-03 neon without the rear mopar lip kit but has the side skirts and the front lip on? just curious how it will look.
